Descripción:Mannose-binding lectin 2 (MBL2) is a protein that is encoded by the MBL2 gene. It is an activator of the lectin complement pathway, which plays an important role in innate immunity. MBL2 binds to mannose-rich oligosaccharides and activates the lectin complement pathway. This protein also interacts with ion channels, cell surface receptors and other proteins. The recombinant human MBL2 has been expressed in E. coli. The purified protein is supplied at >95% purity and has a CAS number of 80613-62-8.
