Pro-xylane is a chemical compound that is a precursor of the polyester xylan. It can be used in food products or as a pharmaceutical agent for diabetes patients who have been exposed to radiation. Pro-xylane has been shown to stimulate the production of growth factors such as insulin, which help control blood sugar levels. Pro-xylane also has antioxidant properties.
