Descripción:ST-193 is a benzimidazole derivative that has been shown to inhibit the human pathogens, viruses, and infectious diseases. ST-193 is an antiviral agent that prevents the attachment of viruses to cells by inhibiting the glycoprotein on the surface of viruses. ST-193 also has a strong inhibitory effect on influenza A virus replication in animals and humans. The antiviral potency of ST-193 was found to be comparable to oseltamivir, but with a more favorable side effect profile. Moreover, ST-193 can be used as an adjuvant for influenza vaccination or as a dietary supplement.
