Descripción:SUVN-911 is a piperidine derivative that has been shown to increase the levels of acetylcholine in the brain. It acts as an agonist at nicotinic acetylcholine receptors, which are found in the subunits of both frontoparietal cortex and basal forebrain. The affinity of SUVN-911 for these receptors was quantified using a microdialysis assay. SUVN-911 also increases cerebral blood flow and has been shown to be effective against Alzheimer's disease in animal models.
