1-[(2-Methylphenyl)methyl]-1H-pyrazol-4-amine dihydrochloride is a pyrimidine compound that has been shown to have receptor activity against the atp channel. It has been used in the horticultural industry as a plant growth regulator that increases plant height and flower size. 1-[(2-Methylphenyl)methyl]-1H-pyrazol-4-amine dihydrochloride can also be used to treat hepatitis, as it inhibits the production of inflammatory cytokines by binding to the integrin receptor. This compound also has antiinflammatory properties, which may be due to its ability to inhibit proinflammatory cytokines such as TNFα and IL-6.
