Soyasaponin Bb is a soyasaponin that is found in the soybean, Glycine max. It has been shown to have anti-cancer properties and may be useful in the treatment of carcinoma cell lines. Soyasaponin Bb inhibits the growth of cancer cells by inhibiting transfer reactions and dinucleotide phosphate, which are important for DNA synthesis. This compound also has hepatoprotective effects, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the activation of toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4). In addition, this compound has been shown to suppress wst-1 activity in vitro.
