Descripción:Benzylidene-cycloheptane is a nucleophilic compound that can be synthesized by the reaction of chloride and phenyl. Benzylidene-cycloheptane is also used in palladium-mediated coupling reactions. These reactions are catalyzed by palladium chloride and sodium tetraphenylborate to form the corresponding cyclopentadienes. The endocyclic, exocyclic, and cleavage reactions are regioselective and provide a good yield with high purity.
