Información del producto
- n-Octyl cyanoacetate
Octyl 2-cyanoacetate is an antibacterial agent that has been shown to have a high degree of efficacy against gram-positive bacteria such as streptococcus, staphylococcus, and Clostridium. Octyl 2-cyanoacetate is also a growth factor that stimulates bone growth and is used in the treatment of osteoporosis. Octyl 2-cyanoacetate reacts with calcium carbonate to form octyl 2-cyanocarbonate, which undergoes hydrolysis to release carbon dioxide gas and form octanol. This product has been shown to be stable in aqueous solution at pH levels between 6.5 and 10.0. Octyl 2-cyanoacetate has also been used in chemical synthesis for the preparation of amides and heterojunction photovoltaic devices. The structural formula for this compound is CH3COO(CH2)8CONH2, with nitrogen atoms located on C
