Información del producto
Meso-tetra (3-pyridyl) porphine is a photoelectrochemical probe that is used to detect and quantify the activity of protein synthesis in tumor tissue. It has been shown to be more sensitive than other probes, such as actinomycin D and chlorophenol red. The isomeric form of meso-tetra (3-pyridyl) porphine has been cocrystallized with bovine serum albumin and characterized using plasma mass spectrometry. This form exhibits kinetic properties that are different from those of the unsubstituted molecule. The chloride ion has been found to increase the solubility of meso-tetra (3-pyridyl) porphine, which may explain its use as a supramolecular complexing agent. Meso-tetra (3-pyridyl) porphine is also being studied for cancer therapy, where
