Descripción:2-(Bromomethyl)-7-chloroquinoline is an anti-inflammatory agent that inhibits the production of prostaglandins. It has been shown to inhibit 6-hydroxy-2,5,7,8-tetramethylchroman-2-carboxylic acid (TETRA), which is a precursor for prostaglandin synthesis. Studies have also shown that 2-(bromomethyl)-7-chloroquinoline has antiinflammatory activity and can be used for the treatment of inflammation. This drug has shown significant inhibition against many different proinflammatory pathways in cell cultures.
