Descripción:1-(3-tert-Butylphenyl)methanamine is a potent and selective inhibitor of the enzyme Tryptophan-2,3-dioxygenase (TDO). TDO is an enzyme that catalyzes the conversion of tryptophan to indolepyruvate in the kynurenine pathway. 1-(3-tert-Butylphenyl)methanamine inhibits this conversion, which leads to increased levels of tryptophan in the body. It has been shown to be effective against a range of analytes, including enzymes, with a low nanomolar and nanomolar range.
