INT 131 is an estrogen receptor modulator that has been shown to have a proton-pump inhibitor effect. It has the potential to be used in the treatment of bowel disease, cancer, or diabetes. INT 131 inhibits the growth of colon cancer cells in vitro and in vivo by inducing cell lysis and inhibiting inflammatory cytokines. It also has an inhibitory effect on oral hypoglycemic agents and anti-inflammatory drugs.
