Descripción:IAXO-102 is a small molecule that is a potent inhibitor of the enzyme protein kinase C. It is believed to inhibit tumor growth by preventing the enzyme from activating tumor suppressor genes and promoting cell death. IAXO-102 has been shown to be active against human cancer cells in an experimental model, where it blocks the production of proteins that promote tumor growth. IAXO-102 also inhibits the activity of a protein called toll-like receptor, which plays a role in regulating inflammation.
