Descripción:DLin-KC2-DMA is a synthetic lipid that has been shown to inhibit the growth of bladder cancer cells in vivo. It targets the messenger RNA of the cancer cell by binding to it, preventing the synthesis of proteins and replication. This lipid is able to enter cells by passive diffusion and can be taken up by target cells through an acyl chain mechanism, which allows for its use in acidic environments. DLin-KC2-DMA has been shown to be effective against bladder cancer cells in culture and animal models.
