Descripción:Carisoprodol-d3 is a radiolabeled peptide that binds to and activates the GABA receptor. It has a high affinity for the alpha-2 subunit of the GABA receptor and can be used as a radioligand to study this protein in vivo. Carisoprodol-d3 has been shown to inhibit ligand binding to the alpha-2 beta-3 gamma subunit of the GABA receptor. This drug has also been shown to inhibit calcium influx through voltage-dependent calcium channels, which may be due to its ability to bind at these sites.
