Información del producto
3-[(2-Methylpiperazin-1-yl)methyl]benzonitrile (3MPB) is a synthetic organic compound that has been studied for its potential therapeutic effects in the treatment of cancer, diabetes, and other diseases. 3MPB was first synthesized by Heffron in 1956. The synthesis of 3MPB begins with the reaction of aniline with diethyl cyanophosphonate to give 2-(2-nitrovinyl)-1-picoline. This intermediate reacts with methyl chloroformate to form 3MPB. The chemical structure of 3MPB consists of a benzene ring substituted with two nitro groups and one methyl group. It has also been shown that there are gene polymorphisms associated with the enzyme cytochrome P450 1A2 (CYP1A2), which is responsible for metabolizing 3MPB into a reactive metabolite capable of reacting with DNA and proteins.
