Descripción:Neodymium(III) hydroxide is a synthetic ligand that has been used in analytical chemistry. The hydrated form of this compound is an analytical reagent that can be used to calibrate the pH of solutions. Neodymium(III) hydroxide forms complexes with alizarin-3-methyliminodiacetic acid (ALZMIDA). These complexes have been shown to enhance the formation of surfactant and reaction products. This ligand has also been studied as a means to equilibrate metal ions in solution.
