The organic phase consists of potassium carbonate and potassium ions from the reactants; the inorganic phase consists of sodium ion, carbonate ion, bicarbonate ion, ammonium ion, calcium ion, magnesium ion, manganese ion, and zinc ion from sodium carbonate reactant as well as any metal ions present in the recycled material.
