Descripción:The present invention relates to a method of fabricating an electrochemical device. The method comprises providing a substrate, depositing on the substrate a polymer matrix comprising poly(ethylene oxide) and 2-(4-bromophenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole monomers, and thermally treating the deposited polymer matrix. The device can be used in voltammetry techniques and has optical properties that are marginally affected by the presence of the 2-(4-bromophenyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole monomers.
