Información del producto
Epimagnolin A is a natural product that has been shown to be toxicologically safe. Epimagnolin A is an antimicrobial agent that inhibits the enzyme activity of the matrix metalloproteinase (MMP) family, which play a role in the degradation of extracellular matrix and cell migration. The compound also has antiinflammatory properties, inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis. Epimagnolin A has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on colorectal adenocarcinoma cells and leukemia cells by regulating signal transduction pathways such as Toll-like receptors and the Tumor necrosis factor receptor. In addition, epimagnolin A has been shown to increase mitochondrial membrane potential, which may lead to its anticancer effects.
