N-Ethylpyrimidin-2-amine is a synthetic compound that belongs to the group of alkanoic acid compounds. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and anticancer properties. N-Ethylpyrimidin-2-amine inhibits phosphatase activity, which can be used for treatment of inflammatory diseases. This drug also inhibits methyltransferase activity and lipid kinase activity, which may lead to cancer treatment. The drug has been shown to inhibit the growth of cervical cancer cells in vitro by binding to integrin receptors on the cell membrane, preventing them from attaching to other cells and proliferating.
