1-Benzyl-6-chloro-1H,2H,3H-pyrrolo[3,2-c]pyridine-7-carbonitrile is an alkoxy compound that has been shown to react with amines and halogen to form pyridines. The compound also reacts with hydroxy groups and nucleophilic residues to form alkoxy groups.
