The resin is also compatible with a variety of functional groups including carboxylic acids, amino acids and thiols. H-Arg(Pbf)-2-ClTrt-Resin (200-400 mesh) 1% DVB has been shown to be effective in the synthesis of peptides containing Arg, Lys, Trp and Tyr. This resin is soluble in organic solvents such as dichloromethane and ether.
