Descripción:N-Cyclobutylidene-2-methylpropane-2-sulfinamide is an inhibitor of indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase (IDO), which is an enzyme that metabolizes tryptophan to kynurenine. It has been shown to have potent inhibitory activity against human IDO, with IC50 values in the micromolar range. The potency of this compound in inhibiting IDO is comparable to that of 1-(3-chloroallyl)indole and 1-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)indole. N-Cyclobutylidene-2-methylpropane-2-sulfinamide is used as a research tool for studying the role of IDO in immune suppression and cancer progression.
