Información del producto
(2R)-3-Hydroxy-2-phenylpropanoic acid is a chiral carboxylic acid that has been synthesized from nicotiana, a plant in the nightshade family. It is used as a pharmaceutical product and synthetic intermediate. (2R)-3-Hydroxy-2-phenylpropanoic acid has been found to have tropate, amide, and nitrous groups in its structure. The mechanism of this chemical is deamination, which occurs when an amino group is removed from an amino acid. This chemical also can be optically active due to its enantiomer. The racemic mixture of this chemical consists of both the D form and L form, which are mirror images of each other.
