Descripción:1-Benzofuran-2-carbohydrazide (1BFC) is an antibacterial agent that belongs to the class of nitrogenous compounds. It is a member of the benzofuran derivatives and has been shown to have significant antifungal activity against flavus, cleavage activity against s. aureus and staphylococcus, and hypoglycemic activity in mice. 1BFC has been found to be more active than fluconazole against Candida albicans, but less active than fluconazole against Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
