Descripción:Bromadoline is a fatty acid that is used as a pharmaceutical preparation, and can be administered orally in solid form. It inhibits the activity of the transporter gene associated with the production of fatty acids, and has been shown to inhibit the activity of fatty acid synthesis in cells. Bromadoline has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on fatty acid production in cultured human liver cells, and was also found to inhibit the accumulation of triglycerides in rat adipocytes. This drug may be useful for diagnosis of conditions such as obesity and diabetes. Bromadoline binds to specific receptors on cells that are responsible for fat absorption and transport, which may contribute to its therapeutic effects.
