Información del producto
Methyl 5-hydroxy-2-methoxynicotinate is a potent and selective inhibitor of the receptor tyrosine kinase c-Met. It selectively inhibits constitutive activation of c-Met, blocking the downstream signaling pathway that leads to cell proliferation and cancer. The compound also binds to other protein kinases with lower affinity, but with high selectivity. This compound has been shown to inhibit tumor growth in mice by inhibiting the activation of c-Met. Methyl 5-hydroxy-2-methoxynicotinate is orally bioavailable and can be used as a potential treatment for cancers that are dependent on c-Met for their development.
