Crovatin is a naturally occurring compound that has been shown to have cytotoxic properties against cancer cells and have significant effects on diabetes. Crovatin has been shown to induce the death of tumor cells in vitro and in vivo, and to inhibit the growth of cancer cells by downregulating the expression of anti-apoptotic proteins. In addition, crovatin has been shown to reduce blood glucose levels in diabetic mice. Clinical studies are underway to determine the efficacy of crovatin as an antidiabetic drug.
