Descripción:MRS 1334 is a potent inhibitor of the cyclase enzyme adenylate cyclase. It also inhibits the release of calcium from the endoplasmic reticulum. MRS 1334 has been shown to reduce skin inflammation in animal models and to have potential for use as a treatment for psoriasis. This drug has demonstrated activity against cancer cell lines and may be useful for treating cancers that are resistant to other treatments. MRS 1334 binds to the α subunit of adenosine receptors, which reduces the production of growth factors such as TNF-α, IL-1β, IL-2, and IL-6. This drug also inhibits carcinoma cells by interfering with their ability to produce adenosine nucleotides.
