Descripción:
AZD-6280 is a molecule that has been shown to bind to the GABA receptor and inhibit the binding of GABA. It also inhibits the production of covalent adducts in the brain, which may be associated with epileptic seizures. AZD-6280 has been shown to have a profile as a nonselective drug and can be used for the treatment of epilepsy. The terminal half-life (t1/2) is about 2 hours, which permits once-daily dosing. The safety profile of AZD-6280 is good and it does not cause sedation or loss in motor coordination, unlike other drugs that are used for the treatment of epilepsy.
