Descripción:BL 1249 is a molecule that belongs to the class of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. It has been shown to activate apoptosis in cancer cells, inhibit proliferation and migration of human osteoblasts, and induce membrane hyperpolarization in damaged cells. BL 1249 inhibits the activity of HDACs, which are enzymes that remove acetyl groups from histones and have been implicated in cancer cell growth. BL 1249 also can be used as a nutrient solution for bladder tissue repair in animal models.
