Descripción:Cilostamide is a drug that inhibits the phosphodiesterase type 3 (PDE3) enzyme, which is responsible for breaking down cyclic nucleotides. It has been shown to have an effect on mitochondrial membrane potential and to inhibit the activation of c-jun in vitro. Cilostamide has also been shown to be effective in the treatment of bowel diseases, such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease.
