Descripción:Fluoranthene-d10 is a stable, labile aromatic hydrocarbon. It is used as an environmental tracer in wastewater treatment plants and anthropogenic emissions. Fluoranthene-d10 has a low solubility in water, which means that it can be detected in wastewater samples. Fluoranthene-d10 is also used to study the uptake of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons by particles and their subsequent release into the atmosphere via dry or wet deposition. This compound can be measured by mass spectrometric detection after sample preparation with solid phase microextraction (SPME).
