Descripción:
(S)-Methoxymethyl-(1-phenyl-ethyl)-trimethylsilanylmethyl-amine is an active compound that inhibits the activity of kinases. It is an aralkyl group with a phenyl group and an alkoxy group that inhibits the activity of both tyrosine and serine kinases. The inhibitory effects of (S)-methoxymethyl-(1-phenyl-ethyl)-trimethylsilanylmethyl-amine are reversible and competitive in character. There are no reports of toxicity for this compound, but it should be used with caution as it may have adverse effects on mammalian cells. This compound has been shown to cause myeloproliferative disorders in mice when administered at high doses.
