Chromafenozide is a film-forming polymer that is used to protect crops from insect damage. It inhibits the proliferation of cells by binding to their receptors, thereby preventing the transfer of amino acids. Chromafenozide also has a high degree of chemical stability, making it an effective pesticide for use in agriculture. Chromafenozide has been shown to inhibit the metabolic rate and reproductive capacity in female rats. The long-term toxicity studies have shown that chromafenozide is not carcinogenic, but there are still some concerns about its potential effects on the endocrine system.
