Descripción:3-Hydrazinylphenol is a serotonin analog that acts as a decarboxylase inhibitor. It has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties in vitro studies. 3-Hydrazinylphenol also has antiviral and antitumor effects, which are thought to be due to its inhibition of dopamine decarboxylase. 3-Hydrazinylphenol interacts with the 5-HT1A receptor and is an active analog of serotonin. This drug is used in the treatment of opportunistic fungal infections and may be useful in treating opportunistic bacterial infections as well.
