Información del producto
N-Boc-thiourea is a synthetic and antiviral agent that has been used to synthesize neuraminidase inhibitors. It is a congener of the natural amino acid thiourea, which is structurally similar to the influenza virus neuraminidase enzyme. N-Boc-thiourea has been shown to be an effective inhibitor of influenza virus replication in vitro by competitively binding to the active site of the enzyme neuraminidase. The low bioavailability of this drug may be due to its chemical structure, which is difficult for it to cross cell membranes and enter cells.
