Descripción:Ro 90-7501 is a synthetic compound that inhibits the activity of the enzyme phosphatase. It has shown to have antiviral, anticancer, and antimicrobial properties in vitro. Ro 90-7501 has been shown to inhibit the growth of multidrug-resistant pathogens such as HIV, influenza virus, and herpes simplex virus type 1 (HSV1). This drug also inhibits the replication of model organisms such as murine leukemia virus, human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1), and HSV1. Ro 90-7501 has been shown to bind to ATP synthase and inhibit its activity, which leads to an increase in cellular levels of ATP. Ro 90-7501 has also been shown to be effective against cervical cancer cells in vitro by inhibiting their proliferation. In addition, Ro 90-7501 has been extensively studied for its long term effects on Alzheimer's disease and cancer cells.
