Descripción:Cort-108297 is a glucocorticoid receptor agonist that can regulate the body's response to stress. It is a synthetic compound that binds to the glucocorticoid receptor and activates it, leading to a number of physiological effects. Cort-108297 has been shown to have locomotor activity in mice infected with herpes simplex virus. This drug also interacts with the glucocorticoid receptor to increase transcription of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and cyclooxygenase 2 (COX-2) genes in cervical cancer cells. Cort-108297 has also been shown to inhibit prostate cancer cell growth and primary breast cancer development in animal models. In addition, cort-108297 has been shown to activate toll-like receptors on macrophages, which may be involved in its anti-inflammatory properties.
