N-Methyl-N-(2-pyridin-3-ylethyl)amine is an antidepressant drug that belongs to the group of pyridines. It has been shown to be devoid of antiserotonin activity and to have a low potential for development of tolerance in rats. N-Methyl-N-(2-pyridin-3-ylethyl)amine has been demonstrated as an intermediate in the synthesis of antiserotonin analogs.
