Descripción:BSJ-4-116 is a small molecule that has been shown to activate the GABA receptor. It has been shown to have high affinity for the GABA receptor, with a Kd of 1.2 nM in the rat cortex. BSJ-4-116 also has high purity, with a maximum of 0.5% impurities in the drug substance and no detectable impurities in the product. BSJ-4-116 has been shown to be an inhibitor of ion channels by preventing chloride ions from entering into cells and causing an influx of positive ions across the membrane, which may lead to hyperpolarization of neurons and inhibition of neuronal activity.
