Descripción:CF 1743-d7 is a synthetic antiviral drug that was developed to treat herpes simplex virus, shingles, and hepatitis. It has potent antiviral potency against a variety of viruses, including papilloma virus and influenza virus. CF 1743-d7 has been shown to inhibit the synthesis of viral DNA in cell culture and to be metabolized by cytochrome P450 enzymes in liver cells. This drug has lipophilic properties, which allows it to cross the blood-brain barrier. CF 1743-d7 has pharmacokinetic properties that are similar to other drugs in its class; however, it does not show significant accumulation in lymphocytes or macrophages.
