N-[3,5-Bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-N'-[(1S,2S)-2-[(11Br)-3,5-dihydro-4H-dinaphth[2,1-C:1',2'-E]azepin-4-yl]cyclohexyl]urea (3FDCPA) is an amido derivative that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. It inhibits the uptake of inflammatory molecules such as leukotrienes and prostaglandins into cells. 3FDCPA is a prodrug that is activated by phospholipases in vivo. Once activated, it inhibits the production of inflammatory molecules by inhibiting amide hydrolase and modulating signaling pathways. 3FDCPA has been shown to be effective for treating rheumatoid arthritis in animal models.
