Ethanebis(thioic) acid is a coordination complex that contains a metal atom and a sulfur atom. It has been shown to have high stability in the presence of chlorine, as well as radiation. Ethanebis(thioic) acid has been shown to be encapsulated with polymer films and electrochemically active. It can be used for the treatment of cancer cells and other diseases such as diabetes.
