Descripción:Isotaraxerol is a terpene compound that has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the growth of human cancer cells. Isotaraxerol belongs to the group of glycoside derivatives and is a mixture of apigenin and serpyllum. It inhibits the growth of cancer cells by blocking cell cycle progression at various stages, including G1, S, and G2 phases. Isotaraxerol has been shown to inhibit β-amyrin production in Rhizophora mangle and Serpyllum asperum. Isotaraxerol also inhibits proliferation of HCT116 human colon cancer cells by inhibiting cell cycle progression from G0/G1 phase to S phase.
