Información del producto
(E)-Methyl 3-(1H-imidazol-4-yl)acrylate is a protonated imidazole derivative that can be synthesized by intramolecular hydrogenation of cis-2-chloroacetamidine. The compound has been shown to react with olefins to form stereospecific reaction products. (E)-Methyl 3-(1H-imidazol-4-yl)acrylate is also nucleophilic and can be used in kinetic reactions. It has been shown to coagulate the blood of animals, which may be due to its ability to bind iron ions.
