4'-O-Methyltaxifolin is a flavonoid that has vasodilatory properties. It is also a potential use for cardiovascular diseases as it may act as an inhibitor of flavonol synthase and caffeic acid. In vitro studies have shown that 4'-O-Methyltaxifolin can inhibit the activity of cyclooxygenase, lipoxygenase, and phosphodiesterase.
