Información del producto
3-Bromo-phenyl-carbamoyl-nitrile is a powerful catalyst for the synthesis of 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-ones. The catalytic cycle is based on the elimination of azide and copper as catalysts. This process provides good yields and high selectivity. The reaction mechanism can be explained by the following steps: 1) initiation with nitrile, 2) bromination at the α position of carbamoyl group to form a bromonitrile, 3) displacement of nitrile with a nucleophile to produce an intermediate that undergoes elimination to produce 3,4-dihydropyrimidin-2-ones.
