AM095 is a novel anti-cancer drug that belongs to the class of immuno-oncology drugs. It inhibits the growth of cancer cells by preventing the activation and proliferation of T lymphocytes. AM095 is an inhibitor of collagenase and interleukin-1β, which are enzymes that cause fibrosis in organs. This drug also has anti-inflammatory activities, inhibiting the production of prostaglandins. AM095 has been shown to be effective against chronic cough in vivo and in vitro, but it is not active against infectious diseases, autoimmune diseases, or kidney fibrosis.
